• Website Design

The brief

I created this body of work during my time at i4U.  The creation and development of this project spanned over two years. Throughout various client meetings, pitches and development, I was the only constant throughout the entire project. Not only was I the sole designer for the website, but also was a main contributor for ideas, interactive animation and functionality. In addition to the creative side of the project, I was also fundamental in staff and client liaisons, internal organisation and project management.

In the initial discussions with the client, we pitched ideas for navigational and interactive elements, functionality and design. The initial navigation and website structure was agreed upon and I proceeded to create the first design concept. Once work had begun, we learnt that Adam Scott had been appointed a new manager, who was also in charge of the new website. This appointment resulted in an overhaul of what was already created and a new direction for the website.

Additional design concepts were created and after weeks of refinement we began work on the Flash development. In addition to internally briefing staff, I was responsible for liaising with Adam’s manager and giving weekly reports on the project’s status and briefing Adam’s team on what content was needed for the website.

After numerous setbacks and overtime my team managed to complete the website. My team and I worked tirelessly to create one of the most demanding projects in i4U’s history. Not only does this particular project showcase my design skills, but also demonstrates my ability in project management and leadership.
